I have over 3 decades of experience working in the fields of mental health and social work. I work with youth, adults, and couples who are struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, relationship issues, and school refusal.
I have spent my career learning and translating theories into practice with individuals, families, couples, and groups. For the last few years, I've gained deeper knowledge working with trauma, anxiety, couples, and the LGBTQIA+ population.
Hi, I'm Brittany! I received my BA in Psychology and Masters in Social Work. I first started in the Social Work field in 2010. Since then I've worked in a variety of settings including group homes, drop-in centers and out patient mental health. I believe in the power of both individual and collective healing, and therapy is a space that can have impact individually, which can lead to collective change.
There is a lot to navigate in this world currently, both collectively and personally. I believe that each person holds wisdom within and often we just need space to tap back into that wisdom and allow the body to communicate what is needed. Anxiety, depression, PTSD are all natural responses in a world that doesn't fully support us in processing and integrating traumatic and challenging experiences. Know that this is a space for all parts of you to show up and be seen and supported.
I am a dual-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner, providing whole-person care that recognizes the connection between mental, emotional, and physical health. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and Women's Health, and I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, supported, and empowered. Outside of my practice, I enjoy traveling, event decorating, and spending quality time with my family. I believe maintaining balance and personal fulfillment is an important part of overall well-being, and I bring that same perspective into the care I provide.
